Questions, bug reports and feedback
Pixtangle is a Shikaku logic puzzle: you slice the board into rectangles, one number per rectangle, and the number equals the rectangle's area. This page answers the questions we get most often. If yours is not here, write to us — we read every message.

We usually reply within a few business days. If you are reporting a bug, please
include your device model, OS version and what you were doing when it happened —
that alone usually saves a round of questions.
Drag across the board to draw a rectangle around a number. Every rectangle must contain exactly one number, and that number is how many cells the rectangle covers. The level is done when the whole board is filled. The App opens with a short interactive tutorial, and you can replay it any time from the profile screen under “How to play”.
Progress lives on your device. On iOS a backup copy is kept in your iCloud account and is restored automatically the first time you launch a fresh install, as long as that install has no progress of its own — the cloud copy never overwrites a game you are already playing. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account and that iCloud Drive is enabled. On Android the same job is done by the system's Auto Backup, which restores during setup of a new device.
If the game starts empty and you expected progress, do not play a few levels first — write to us before that, while the restore is still possible.
Legendary arts cannot be bought. Each one unlocks when every other art in its category has been completed.
You earn coins for finishing levels, and the daily challenge pays more than the archive — a streak of days raises that reward further. Coins buy new pixel arts and hints; a hint reveals one correct rectangle of the solution.
All three are switches on the profile screen. Daily reminders are optional and off until you allow notifications; you can revoke that permission at any time in your system settings.
Pixtangle follows your system language and ships with 16 of them. You can pick a different one at any time in the profile screen under “Language”.
The game is free and supported by ads. Rewarded ads are always your choice — you start them yourself to earn coins. You can review or change your advertising consent at any time from the profile screen under “Ad privacy”.
Uninstalling the App removes everything it stored on the device. To also remove the iOS cloud copy, delete Pixtangle's data from your iCloud storage settings.
See the Privacy Policy for what the App and its advertising partner collect.
